After fifty years of service, the "black lake" has turned into a "sea of flowers"

In the tailings reservoir area of our group, the petal shape composed of "earth landscape" has taken shape. It is reported that the tailings reservoir was built during the "third-line construction" period, was completed and put into production in July 1970, and was officially closed in June 2022. As the only tailings pond, the total dam height before closure is 186.5 meters, and approximately 123 million cubic meters of tailings are stored. It took our company more than a year to complete the regreening of more than 1.4 million square meters of reservoir area. In the future, the tailings pond will be built into an urban sports central park integrating thousands of acres of flowers and sports training, becoming another internet celebrity check-in place for citizens.
