Celebrating the 80th birthday, our steel mill ushered in a "family visiting group"

Our steel factory invited 66 employee representatives and their family members, including deputies to the people's congresses at all levels, members of the CPPCC, outstanding party members, people from democratic parties, model workers, March 8th red-banner bearers, and outstanding league members, to tour the steel city in depth and experience it intuitively The 80-year history of our steel mill has undergone tremendous changes and new achievements in transformation and development. It is reported that our steel factory was built in 1943, and the "side-blowing alkaline converter steelmaking method" was successfully tested in 1952, establishing the status of "the hometown of the Republic of converters". This major technological achievement was listed as a "national invention" by the National Science and Technology Commission, which has epoch-making significance in the history of China's metallurgical industry.
