Channel steel process: A channel steel production process method, wherein the chemical composition is c: 0.15 ~ 0.20%, si: 0.15 ~ 0.45%, mn: 1.30 ~ 1.60%, s ≤ 0.045%, p ≤ 0.045%, v (or ni, ti): 0.020 ~ 0.050%, and the rest are steel billets with iron and inevitable impurities; The production steps are as follows: s1. Put the above billets into the heating furnace and heat them to 1050 ~ 1150 ºC for discharging; S2. A section of ultra fast cooling equipment is added behind the finishing mill stand. The heated billet enters the bd mill and the finishing rolling area for rolling. After the billet is rolled, it enters the ultra fast cooling equipment for control cooling; S3. The cooled billets are sent to the cooling bed for cooling. After the temperature meets the requirements, they are sent to the straightener for straightening; S4. After straightening, segment, stack, bundle and put into storage to produce q355 or q420 channel steel.
